We've Got Water to Walk On

A storm is brewing
It’s coming to a head
The people are in danger
But by the Spirit we'll be led
The impact will be monumental
Affecting everyone at hand
But on the promises of God we will firmly stand

We’ve got water to walk on
In every aspect of our lives
But we can’t be doubtful
Like Peter was before Christ
We’ve got water to walk on
And we need to comprehend
That Jesus will catch us
again and again

Jesus's divine authority Is the incarnate word
And it matters not whatever else you have heard
the Holy Communion and the holistic Resurrection of Christ
have given us the power to walk on the waters of life

We've got water to walk on
In every aspect of our lives
But we can't be doubtful
Like Peter was before Christ
We've got water to walk on
And we need to comprehend
That Jesus will catch us
again and again

the boat depicted despair and humanity’s emotions
the Disciples the church full of believers and devotion
the sea the revelation and the resolution
and Jesus walking on water was the divine conclusion

we’ve got water to walk on
in every aspect of our lives
and we can’t show doubt
like Peter did before Christ
we’ve got water to walk on
And we need to comprehend
that Jesus will catch us
again and again

So be not afraid as you walk on the waters of life
be of good courage in the midst of storms and strife
and never be fearful of an unknown destiny
when you serve a known God assuring you victory

we’ve got water to walk on
in every aspect of our lives
be anxious over nothing
and don’t act like Peter did before Christ
we’ve got water to walk on
and we need to comprehend
that Jesus our Savior will catch us
again again and again

we’ve got water to walk on
in every aspect of our being
we’ve got water to walk on
and all we need to do is keep believing
we’ve got water to walk on
