Westward Breeze

                                                    she whispers softly
                                             new leaves rustle their reply
                                               breeze wanders westward

We are going to need some breeze over the next few days and probably forward during the summer months because of the heat and humidity so let here whisper softly. I enjoyed reading this Haiku. Way to go. Sara K.

Oh us too, in the southwest it is so hot. I find myself questioning why we stay here in the summer, I think I would like to try the snowbird way of life. It is monsoon season and the humidity makes it worse, otherwise locals love to boast "It's a dry heat" but you could easily fry an egg on an iron skillet if it is simply left to heat up with the blazing sunshine :) A soft breeze whispering through our summer is like opening the oven. Where my daughter lives there has been issued an extreme heat warning, and it's only two degrees warmer than it is where I live, ugh. I hope you have some nice weather where you live soon Sarah, may the breeze blow you respite to the humidity and heat soon!

Dear BJ, Your Haiku effectively employs imagery to paint a serene scene that evokes a sense of calmness and the gentle progression of nature. Well done
