We're worlds apart

Those black eyes,
like black velvet night.
Draw me in with a gentle might.
Your lips,a pink rose petal hue,
make you look like a piece of art.

Your smile lights up the sky and makes it shine.
Your skin ,a canvas of golden glow ,
a light skinned beauty for all I know.

In your eyes,my heart finds a home,
a place to rest and never roam.
Your touch ignites a burning fire,
melting my fears and soothing my desire.
But my dear, we're worlds apart,
and I'm left with just a shattered heart.

Though we're apart,I know I'm your heart's sweet melody.
