We're worlds apart

Those eyes,
Like black velvet night.
Draw me in with a gentle might.
Your lips,
a pink rose petal hue, makes you a piece of art.

Your smile lights up the world and makes it shine. Your skin, a canvas of golden glow.
A light skinned beauty, for all I know.
In your eyes,my heart finds a home,a place to rest and never roam.

Your touch ignites a burning fire,
melting my fears and soothing my desire.
But my love, we're worlds apart.
And I'm left with just a shattered heart.

Those black eyes, pink lips and beautiful smile haunts me still, and makes my heart go wild.
Though we might be apart, I know that, I'm your heat's sweet melody.

I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
