We're meant to be

You make my heart pound,
making an inside sound,
it made us bound.

I thought we were meant to be,
but you changed our fate to be.

Why do you always complain?
Why do you never care?
And why was I silent all with a tear.

Why couldn't I stop myself?
Why do I care?
Why did you evade,
leaving me in despair.

"Can I undo what happened?"
I ask.

"Not with you."
He said.

Tore my heart,
and ripped my life.
I lost you,
now I lose myself.

Captures heartbreak in words, and here I thought that could never be done.
