Well That Hurt

On a cruise ship in the sea breaking blue waves peacefully, yet once we land and I descend the coral moves and shifts and bends. Out comes something small and sweet but packing punch; I know I'm beat. A jellyfish: minuscule and bright it shocks me and I'm full of light. Grappling to the surface now with water dripping off my brow, "that sucked" I think, "It hurt like hell." My trip to Jamaica sure was swell.
