Well Alive

Come, my joy, My warmth and my heart, Journey with me, As we embark on a love not late, Though not soon or rushed, Not great, though well enough. Hold me now and feel my life, I am here and well alive. Treasure this time, so quickly lost, Treasure each moment here with me, We've just begun, We're free to guide, This feathered maze, Amazing life, Looking deep in love bound strides and gestures shown no pity. So, my dear, Hold me now, for I am here, Feel my love and feel my life I am well alive. As withered steps begin to fade, Our hopeful embrace cannot falter, But deeper in this grief we wade, And bound on to each other, For joy, For warmth, For hours oblivious and dim, And ours are days, if held within, So, my warmth, Cling tight to me and feel my life, Feel the fire, burn me alive. Fall once more, our soul's regret, And take me by my hand again, Bury me in absent hope, In empty dreams to help me cope, For as we stray in hidden loss, Our days clutch weakened veils, Though in our story, passion burns, Tears shaken arms with fury, And soon to fade, we must fight on, It's time now that we hurry, My love, come to me Hold me now and feel my warmth Our fate has brought through flames, I was here, You held my life, In your arms to never die, And in your mind, your memories, I am well alive.
