Welcome To Hell
Put me on this pedestal
Tell me how no one compares
Make believe you love me so
Answer all my prayers
I’m nothing more than who you wish
The girl of your dreams come true
Parade me in front of all your friends
Brag I’m a fantastic screw
Then with your hand of fearsome strength
Knock me back down to Earth
Show me how I’m nothing more
Strip me of all my worth
But cry no more is my new motto
A single tear I’ll shed
Just so I can make believe
I’m not better off dead
This vivid thought has crossed my mind
On more than one occasion
The single slice of a shiny blade
An infinite evasion
Only a thought, I tell myself
A place I shouldn’t dwell
Besides, if I decide to take my life
Then who’ll make yours a living hell?
