Front door opened, allowing light to pour out Nighttime sure has escaped the branding fingers Pumpkins lit beneath me signify the end Welcome to darkness Little witches, ghosts, lost vampires, and werewolves Guard the door, watch’s any offers of terror The first sign of weary passerby they pounce Bringing fear inside

hey, way to bring Halloween into a Sapphic. Stanza. I was trying to see if you got the meter spot on. A good part of the time you did it. It's very difficult to do!!
