Welcome To a Fine November Day

Orange, brown and red oak leaves with spots galore,
Blowing out piles into my front door,
Pumpkin spice, hot candles, cinnamon bread,
Our campfire is deliciously red.
Jack-o-lanterns gone, witches put away.
So welcome to a fine November day.
The cool weather makes me want to soar,
We feel that next month frost is in store,
Thanksgivings Day finds us very well fed.
Smiling memories of people long dead,
Flirting squirrels flirt and gently sashay,
Ushering in Christmas, merry and gay.
