Janus am I; oldest of potentates;
Forward I look, and backward, and below
I count, as god of avenues and gates,
The years that through my portals come and go.
–Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, American poet (1807–82)

A full Wolf Moon peaks illumination the 25th, rising from the horizon at sunset
New Year’s Day is celebrated, Burn’s Night, 6th is Epiphany—Magi and ministry
Up above Earth reaches perihelion, we’ll be 91,404,095 miles away from the Sun
