Janus am I; oldest of potentates;

Forward I look, and backward, and below

I count, as god of avenues and gates,

The years that through my portals come and go.

Oh wow, a brilliantly informative acrostic poem on the arrival of January month. It rhymes really well too, your creativity reflects so stunningly in this one, dear Anaya.. Love the concise nature of lines as well as the vastness they cover within few words.. Excellently done! In India, it's the peak of cold weather at this time and personally, not my fave, haha, for, I'm freezing :) Perhaps, I'm a spring girl lol! Sending you many best wishes and light, always ~

It's 60's 70's here.for the coldest month of the year. I'm dreading a scorching summer. They idle in their cars with AC on all day making it more miserable. I'm enjoying the coolness we have while I can. Haha. Warm wishes!
