Welcome Home

Did you pass all the planets
Gaze at twinkling stars along the way?
Maybe, entered a wondrous new galaxy,
Softly, kissed by the sun's warm ray.

Is it everything you imagined,
More spectacular, than your wildest dreams?
Did the Northern star guide you,
Followed by the smile of a bright moonbeam?

Are you in the light of heaven?
Traveling on streets made of gold?
At first glimpse, did you gasp with,
amazement
Is it better than everything you've been told?

Are you surrounded by perfection?
Have you touched an angel's wing?
Have you heard a new song in heaven,
Did the angel's invite you to sing?

Is there a river, clear as crystal?
Have you tasted fruit from the Tree of Life,
Does it grow leaves that will heal the nations?
Will you reign forever  and ever, free from all strife?

Are you dwelling in a mansion?
Did you pass through a pearly gate?
Were you greeted by your loved ones,
Did they welcome you home and celebrate?
