Today is a wonderful day
our very own PD is back
raise the bunting flags
make merry one and all

Today is a day of rejoicing
there will be fun and games
now that PD is back to inspire
Raise your glass in a toast

PD welcome back you were sorely missed
you took our hearts with you Linda
now they are back full of great delight
1st lady of Soup your audience awaits

PS.... Shadow, I wouldn't miss Valentines for the world, with all my soup friends (((thank you for being a part of the ones I do call friends.))). I had fun sending emails to many of the friends I miss here on the soup. As a matter of fact, I'm making my way down your poem list. There is a certain poem you wrote, I've had my eye on. Wow, Thank you Shadow.... Happy Valentine's... I'm gonna admit, after reading the welcome back poem. I felt like Increasing my support, by becoming a Life Time Poet once again. heheh, But, I know I'm only here for today and perhaps I will come back this coming Monday & Tuesday. I miss running my contest. However, my sweet sister gave me the okay to help her judge a contest she has on hold:) Shadow, I noticed lots of poets left when I did. I'm hoping when I fully return, they will too. Linda
