Weight

memories remind
shiny nickels and dimes
always present
here in my mind

they flow quick
are honey thick
ever lasting
as each day ticks

at night it seems
they come as dreams
floating gently
on moonbeams

now put away
with our yesterdays
oh how heavy
this does weigh
