Weeks To Seconds

The weeks seem so long.
Those weeks where I don't hear from you.
Weeks that I don't see you.

The weeks seem long.
But the days seem longer.
The days where we sit in the same room,
But act like we don't feel the electricity between us.

The days seem long.
But the minutes seem longer.
The minutes were we have to sit next to each other.
But not daring to touch, for the fear of crossing that line.

The minutes seem long.
But the seconds seem longer.
The seconds when our lips are inches apart.
Those last seconds before we crash into each other.
