Evening cascades
Distant bright lights --
Sleepless I write


Bedtime stories
Adult word play;
Curious mind stalking


Wee hours conspire
Sleepy world drifts;
Double espresso


My darling sleeps
Glimpses of nirvana;
Haikus converge


Empty taxicabs
Ply lonely routes;
No one in sight
