Wedding Vow
There has never been a moment
when the magic of you
that changed my life
has not been part of
my every breath
Even now as we encircle each other
within each day
I am amazed…still
at the wonder of you in my life
every moment a surreal gift
of laughter and discovery
casualness and integrity
softness and strength
Passion within love
untouchable moments within our grasp
beauty shared and never forsaken
our vows whispered
in trust to the other
On bended knee my love
on my Irish soul
my life is humbly offered
against all that comes our way
I ask only that we stand
side by side.
I pledge my heart to you alone
