Wedding Day

As I look upon an Angel That stood without her wings Flowing lace and train of white With vows yet forth to bring The new love that unites them here Left her dads heart feeling blue He'd gave away his little girl The flower that he grew She borrowed of a trinket bright Around her neck to wear And something old from the past Was the love that they both shared The candles flame that flickers here Burns for all to see The kiss that they sealed love with And the glimmer of her ring A new last name to go forth with Two lives joined by their hearts This vow they'll share eternally Till in death at last they part
