Wedding Bliss

What could make a better memory
Than the best decision ever made
On a day never to be forgotten
However old I might get

We will get there together
Still hand in hand
Linked by previous memories
Of lives joined together

Always happy with the thick
Will get us through the thin
Friends and family will help us
As they did in the beginning

That proud, well-dressed boy
Is now a grumpy old man
With a caring, loving wife
Who still remembers “I will”
