We'D Just Be Fine

wind
whispers in skin
makes my heart grin
don't even know how the word start begins
stayed in a box
but kept it unlocked
stop
let's read again

I stiff in my wake
but i know if i'll turn you'll say hi

i've made my mistakes
but i know that you'll never say bye

this chest inside aches
and i sigh cause i don't like to cry

no point in a yell
cause you'll laugh and say, "problem ain't mine."

stop
let's read again

i want
so many things in this life

i wish
questions had answers in line

if i
could only remember the times

that you cheered me up

...we'd just be fine
