I’ll snare your essence
within the fine filament 
of deceptive words

I’ll entrap your heart
within the decadent fibers
of unholy passions

I’ll bind your emotions
within depraved threads
of immoral desires 

I’ll leave you devastated
haunted by shameful memories
naked in self-loathing

Welcome to internet romance
the world-wide web of deceit
I’m the spider, you’re the fly

Sandra Adams January 20, 2020 at 8:26 AM oh this is so true... there are many predators on the internet pretending to be something other than they are...i used to warn my kids about internet dating when they were growing up and always limited their time online until they were adults... it's sad to see kids as young as 7 with phones and be able to access the internet...good write... you are on a roll this morning :) hugs Running Wolves January 20, 2020 at 10:14 AM I'd have hunted him down and killed him... Seriously Sandra Adams January 20, 2020 at 8:47 AM i don't blame you both for canceling the trip... i dated a man whose daughter was sending nude's over the internet to some guy...she was only 12... who knows how old he was, he claimed to be 15...but i beg to differ by how he had her pose in some of the pics... her dad did nothing to get this man for fear of shaming his daughter...i would have handled it differently for sure... Running Wolves January 20, 2020 at 8:37 AM thank you sweet Lady... years ago one of my step daughters was going from Florida to Virginia to spend time with my mom. my wife at the time discovered that she was talking to a guy in Virginia, a total stranger and making plans to sneak out and meet him... her trip was cancelled...
