Yesterday was a taste of me
I brought my dry wit
and false confidence
Thought they'd enjoy the play time
Re-caged too hastily
and today, it depresses me

A reminder I am bound
A reprobate with a trapeeze
I bail, I panic, I recapture
Your safety net spun with a spiders ease
Uncertain of my exemption
A reminder I am required

Craved evasion from exclusion
Wanted to be more than your nothing
and you cry at me again
I resent that.
You never came when I wanted to play
Isolated you shall remain
