Weather Patterns
If you only knew how much I loved you,
Even in this shimmering gray.
If you only you didn't wished it would stay.
All steel dries, you know.
The dew subsides,
Though love lies like cream over our lives
above all those empty driveways,
And churning burning helpless hearts.
The weather will change, my love,
But that lingering light
Remains the same.
