The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

we willingly burn

Is it not foolish
to make detachment a goal,
when both our hearts beat as one?

True it is, soul mate,
since love alone is real,
our entwinement pleases God.

Dear US, Seeker, I felt the power of questioning the wisdom of seeking detachment when our hearts beat as one. Indeed, detachment seems futile in the dance of love, for our souls intertwine in a sacred bond. Love, the essence of our being, truly matters, pleasing God in His purest form. A wonderful reflection on the nature of love and connection. - Blessings, Daniel

Answers vary depending upon perception. In duality, we are polarised and so love is taken as between two entities. In singularity, Self alone is and the joy or bliss we feel in duality transforms as peace. Love becomes a higher octave, non-discriminatory compassion. So it depends from which vantage point we are addressing this issue.
