We Will Be Together

We Will Be Together
R.e. Taylor

Darlin’, I am going out tonight
My buddy called and he needs my help
And Darlin’ I may end up in a fistfight
We’re going to get drunk and that the truth

And the bar we might just ignite
I ain’t going to try to be witty
I know it’s nearly twilight
And I have to leave

My buddy and I are going to be dynamite
But we will be happy for the first time in a while
And our friendship will reignite
In the jail or in the hospital we will be one
