you be the girl with messy blonde hair
ill be the guy with the awkward shy stare
you be the reason i smile in my sleep
ill be the reason you laugh 'till you weep
you be the angel that sleeps in my bed
ill be the devil putting thoughts in your head
you be the whiskey in the bottle i tip
ill be the wine in the glass that you sip
you be my muse, let beauty shine through
ill be your poet, writing verses for you
together in madness and ecstasy
forever in love, we will be
