We Were Wired
WE WERE WIRED
Seeing the thickness of the forest craved the feel of darkness
I told myself and my mates, ‘We risk missing our way’.
The canopy cover craves countless thoughts
A save place from the sun’s harsh rays,
A hide-out for the monsters we dare.
The natural musical rhythm of the un-conducted choir
Yet the melody sounded in agreement to the musical notes;
We were wired by the melodic singing of the birds
And the intermittent roar of the wild mammals
Attracting our adventurous curiosity.
We were wired into the forest by the melody of the songs
And the favorable breeze blazing the flavor of the flowers
To see nature herself crown in an arm-chair
Umbrellaled by the high risen canopy of trees
With some rays of the sun passing through the little holes
Left opened by the design of the leaves.
The beauty of the cool surroundings lighted decoratively
By the rays that were lucky to be invited to the palace
All these wired our stay in comfort
Forgetting of the wild treads on the grounds
And all the rest we are passionate to see for their beauty
And are afraid to see for our safety: the list from vipers to tigers
Yet the scene of nature in its natural state
Like the untamed moon changing in shape as she wishes,
Preserved our comfort to build our tents and turned them into a cottage
In which we stay free from pollution, plastics, congestion and conjectures
We live in peace with nature leaving life to take its own course.
