We Were the Perfect Horizon

A horizon where my turquoise meets your blue All they see is the love we never knew Believing your sun sets where my calm begin And finds its rest where my soul sink deepest within Believing your moon sparkles my ripples under your stars’ display Forgetting my belly where darkness holds my dismay Lying depths away from your touch Yet all they see is the perfect horizon we never had
