We Were Never Been

One rainy afternoon
I realised how s h i t ty things have become
That stars can't outshine the moon
And how stupid it is for some

One rainy afternoon
I realised that after all these years
We were always out of tune
And that we were wasting all our tears

Then came along two different people
Who brought back those lost smiles
That once we have when we're together
I guess
It all ends here

But on that rainy afternoon
I also realised it never really started
We never really brought those smiles
For each other
It was all a picture of our imagination
And all those crazy childish infatuation

And the rest is history
Of unspoken words
And the subtle memory
Of unwanted regrets
Cliche as always
But everything happens for a reason
