We Were Never Afar

When I close my eyes
               I see you and I
                   Tied to my heartbeats
                        Against time
                           Don't want to wake from this reverie
                               For you are bathed in starlights
          The comfort I feel in your arms
                     Is incomparable ineffable
                          I have yearned
                                Our love to be nothing but forever
                                     To every shooting stars
                                          I have ever wished upon
           You wear them so perfectly
                    With rhyme and rhythm
                         Taking me beyond dreamy realms
                              We meet there
                                    As we were never afar
