We Were In Love

We were in love
years before yesterday
then we woke up today
I felt like there as a stranger in my house
As we lay
and things were different
last night our goodnight I love you’s were missing
and the space in queen size bed seemed so distant
I guess I’m reminiscing like mary j blidge
Thought it was real love
Cause you made me feel like a natural woman in the begginning
Now I feel like I’m going back down memory lane (with Minnie ripperton)
I guess it was silly of me to think we could make it last forever
Should have never given you that cup of milk
I didn’t know your asss was lacking pro’s and intolerant
