We Survive

I feel your heart
it hurts like mine
Led astray by fear
Driven to commit crime
Locked in time, in pain we cry
Sickness of minds, in that we die

Searching for your soul
in the written words
Moving with hatred
Towards your goal
The ink has dried
but the blood still flows
Out on the roads
of friends and foes

The place in your mind
you call paradise
Chimes of empty greed
And is built on countless cries
I pray for you
that heaven you find
Not in the skies
deep within it resides

Drop the hate
Let's change the fate
In love, I hold you
In love, we survive.
