We Soon Shall Meet

I.

The wish of hearts
  and seas of long-
black dreams
too, beneath seas
i dreamed of love
  and the yellow
shimmering moon
of largest hope!
In fitful moments
i soil slushy sands
all about with tears
  and those of fear!

II.

Within a Spirit-storm
  as half a beach sworn
in sea-scented wind
a light of ruby-heart shone
my lady whom i forever love
and firmly wet sands
took our feet and the moon
the half-large and low
startled the waves that leap!
