We Salute You
To everyone serving in the military,
The Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marines;
You gave your lives protecting people like me,
From the ground, in the air, and even on the sea.
You've shown every enemy no surrender or fear,
And have loving friends and family far and near.
Your courage and bravery will not be in vain;
You support each member through the weather and intense pain.
For every uniform you proudly wear,
And all hands raised, you solemnly swear
To defend our country against all odds:
You truly are a blessing from God.
We can't thank you enough for everything you do,
And this is why we salute you.
