We Promise
We felt we had come a long long way
Too much strength, too much struggle we went
Going above and beyond the norms and values as they say
But now there’s much longer way to go as in our life you have been sent
family avoided and friends left
Relatives backstabbed as our emotions they toyed
who promised to support, they never showed n those promises were never kept
That humiliation, that punishment by them…well they enjoyed
But today holding you in my arms my dearest son
No longer any of those humiliation counts
Whatever they said, how much they all hurt …its all far gone
For you we will go past through all of them again if we had to no doubt
For you are our only true treasure
Far more precious than anything or anyone in this world
Our love for you son is beyond measure
You filled our heart, our soul with happiness as we hold
We can’t promise you that you won’t fall
Because no matter how much it hurts,
you must fall to stand up taller than tall
when you are scared, you will find us with you for sure
In this life for your every pain,we promise to be the cure
When you find yourself surrounded by darkness
We will be the light you need to guide your way
When you find yourself in problem and surrounded by sadness
We will help you with all we can, you don't even need to say
We promise to rise you up when you feel low
We promise to support you to be the man you really are while you grow
We promise to love you with our full heart no matter how weak it gets
We promise to protect you from everything wrong from mistakes you will make
We promise to guide you toward your better life
at most we promise to never abandon you for your life decisions you take
