We Pray for Peace, We Get War

Each of us prays for peace
                  All we get is war
What the H do we keep praying for

               Let’s try praying for war
                   Perhaps we’ll get peace
At least ~ the chances might increase

Hello Gershon, I love your reverse psychology. In counseling, we call it Irreverent Communications, which means say exactly what it is from the war mongers' perspective, and exactly why they should feel the way they do, to eliminate anyone who stands in the way, including their own family, friends, and coworkers. Then the therapist goes quiet as they argue that isn't what they truly meant. I will keep praying! Blessings, Daniel

It is disheartening, it really is. I wouldn't dare pray for war though, how terrifying if the answer is stepped up war, yikes. I guess we can always pray for peace within our own hearts despite war. I never thought of it before, but maybe when we're told to pray for peace, it is for our own mind and spirit. Hm.
