We Only Get One Chance
We only get once chance
This doesn’t come with a manual
Every moment, as fast as a glance
The life we create is gradual
This doesn’t come with a manual
We make our choices, true
The life we create is gradual
Our faults, we can’t undo
We make our choices, true
We learn from our awareness
Our faults, we can’t undo
We grow from life’s unfairness
We learn from our awareness
And stay true to the lessons learned
We grow from life’s unfairness
And are thankful for the wrinkles earned
Stay true to the lessons learned
And don’t forget the road
Be thankful for the wrinkles earned
And thank the path you’ve mowed
Don’t forget the road
Every moment, as fast as a glance
Thank the path you’ve mowed
We only get once chance
