We Never Knew This
That here now we're alive, is all we know
and so we assume we are body-mind
but something tells us life's merely a show,
wherein we are floundering about blind,
life revealing grace alone does endow
and that too only if we're love aligned,
leaving us in doubt as to who we are,
as we needlessly strive, struggle and spar.
It's a piquant dilemma we are in
and so obtaining from mind no answer,
we shift into silence and so begin
search for the truth, innocence heart's prancer,
deepening stillness, going in within,
entwined at last with the divine dancer,
being love and light that's innate to us,
frolicking in joy aboard God’s bliss bus.
