We Need Another Kingfish
Lousiana, we've been behind in everything for way too long.
We need another leader like Huey P. Long.
We need for us all to live like queens and kings.
To grant Louisiana's economic wish we need another kingfish.
Huey P. Long wanted prosperity for all.
He knew what ist was like not to have much.
He did not want everyone to be in poverty and have such
Substandard living. He gave and never stopped giving.
He did not always do right: but no man is perfect.
But for change he thought Louisiana was much worth it.
He did what he had to do for me and you to have free
Textbooks in public schools, paved roads, pension plans,
He was indeed a man who cared, a man who shared,
From a small town in North Louisiana, Winnfield,
A place full of fields of white gold, and impoverished
Souls of young and old. It was God's will for Huey,
To step forth and Share His Wealth. Like him there
May or may not be anyone else. We need another
Kingfish in Louisiana.To get us up to date, and
In standing with the nation.
