We Ll Walk This Through Together

We’ll walk this through together

It’s not the time 
To go after your dreams 
As nothing is 
As what it seems 

It’s not the time 
To live your life
As you’re running into 
An open knife

It’s not the time 
To please yourself 
To put your trophies 
Upon a shelf 

It’s not the time 
To pursue your own happiness 
As what you’ll get will be
Your heart in scrappiness 

It is the time 
yourself to gather
As I will teach you 
Not to bother

It is the time 
For you to wait
And let me work
Upon your fate

It is the time
For you to pray 
And I will come
To seize the day 

It is the time 
To lay your weapons down
Upon your head
I’ll put a crown

It is the time
That you surrender 
As I’m the one
Who loves you tender

I love you kind
But you act blind
Instead of forward 
You walk rewind 

I love you most
But you’re thinking 
That I’m a ghost
I’m here for you

All day all night
And it is me
Who’s gonna fight
And win for you

So we together 
Will walk this through
