We Live In Blind Harmony
Once upon a time, when the world was young
We hardly heard of crime, for we mostly respected our tongue.
Harmony is what we expect, but though we have experts,
Money is what they respect, and the victims are regarded as pets
“We live in harmony” said the first, “We live in harmony” said the second,
But yet we depend for survival, the fact that we are blind is their fruit,
For we make their dinner table, much delicious for them
We sleep on mats that are reserved for pets; we eat on plates without fat,
Mindset has always been their first target, to make us believe what is not there
Blaming ourselves had always been the results, politized by their practices,
We have been transformed from self-reliance to post reliance.
Our minds are too occupied, thinking about them,
When our owns are postponed for the next hour,
Our cultures have been buried, when theirs keep heating drums into our ears
Confusing the generation expected to take over, THEN WHO SHALL?
Where is the Harmony we expect from your appointment?
The promises you had addressed during manifestations?
When will we tell our own folks, rather than letting them be told
If plants can grow new leaves every season, why can’t we open our eyes for Harmony?
