We Lie To Kids

We lie to children as we teach them not to lie a man in a red suit and his reindeer fly the sky that chocolate egg was delivered by a bunny and we don’t say how the baby got into mummy A tooth fairy left them money in the night you have to admit we say all sorts of shight But as they grow, they learn, realise the truth, soaking up knowledge of how the world works, as adults they know you bull hit the youth, and be fake superficial dishonest jerks. As a child it’s called reality, as an adult it’s called insanity, but we allow the kids to have this magic, because we know their teenage years will be tragic

G'day Nick … nice one Nick. You could add Old Wives Tales too, but kids thrive on fantasy and you've stated well at the finish with turning into teenagers - thanks Nick - Lindsay
