We Hunted Together

We hunted together
with comrades I went to jungles
the desired beast I spotted
intelligence I provided
weapons too I advised on
a big game we tracked and killed

But when the game lay on grass
each hunter with knife in hand
sliced pieces and heaps
and carried away in bags

Ugly was their conduct to me
mouth they pasted with glue
my legs they fractured
hands too suffered their injury
leaving me in the cold and wild
for wild cruel animals to eat me
as they celebrated with pomp

Inscribed in their golden hearts
is animosity against chief hunter
the one who spotted the game
provided intelligence and strategy
and offered comradeship trust
