We Go Through Life
We go through life
Loving who loves us not......
Searching for those who wish
Not to be found......
Rejecting who value us most.
We go through life
Validating and excusing
Those who betray us;
Fantasize about
Those who constantly rob us
Of our joys.
We go through life
Trying to appease them
To the point of sacrificing our very lives
For those who without any hesitation
Would walk over our ashes...
