We Forget

Some things were never meant to remembered. Some things we just have to forget. It seems our ability to keep or lose memories is really out of our control. It seems we remember the worst, yet always forget the good. Something may happen that potentially impacts our life. Your mind forgets these things after a while. Pushes down the painful memory. Then one day it comes crawling back to the surface. And that moment and forever more changes who you are, who you'll become. It's scary the things we remember later in our lives, the things were wish we could forget. But pain stays at the surface, taints and blinds the good, stains and darkens the joy, ruins and destroys the happiness, turn smiles into frowns, laughs into chuckles, and bright eyes into empty ones. These are the times we wish we could forget and remember instead: The times he made you smile, the times he made you laugh, the times he made you feel special. But we don't remember, we forget.

I'm seeing alot of pain and suffering from the few writes I've read of yours...seems as though you're now a stronger woman from your previous life experiences. And you're a gifted artist to express yourself in the manner thats shown through your paintings.
