We Die Daily

Waiting, hoping, fingertips and noses,
Sighing, trying, we die daily.

Surviving, striving, thorns among the roses,
Loving, hating, we die daily.

Beauty fading, strength subsiding,
Sun keeps rising, we die daily.

Hands are working, resting folding,
Making, molding,
We die daily

Happily sailing, sudden ailing,
Faint hearts failing,
We die daily.

Growing graying, having children,
Soon their turn dying, we die daily.

A trickling fountain, moments mounting,
May lose the counting,
But we die daily

Tme is spinning, since the beginning
Eternity never ending,
We die daily,

Finally resting, from all our testing,
Skies now calling,
Never stalling
New birth crying,
Another life dying,
The whole earth sighing,
As we die daily.
