We Didn'T Start the Fire
We might not have started it but we certainly didn't put it out
My part I'll certainly admit, but in my mind there is no doubt
So do yourself a big favor and don't go and play with the fire
Stay close to the Savior as all things get more and more dire
Removing prayer from school taking Jesus out of the classroom
My friend that would be a fool headed straight for certain doom
They said you can kill the Unborn, can you feel any of that heat
Every minute I'd have to mourn to keep countenance with deceit
Yeah that fire has certainly grown turning large timbers into ash
Like nothing no one's ever known as mankind is about to crash
As mankind adds more gasoline getting further and further away
Yet what I really mean is that so many people don't care to pray
So that fire will continue to burn but also it will continue to grow
As mankind never seems to learn the affects are starting to show
You might not have started it or even added any of the gasoline
But from it you never departed, I'm sure you know what I mean
1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
