We Dared To Dream

We dreamed to dream long decades ago
  of a future where we could easily go
from bedroom to office in a step or two
  skip the commute and the weather too

Well, now that the future has finally come
  So many seem downright depressed and glum
They miss seeing their good friends at work
  All those fancy office amenities and perks

Cozy-comfy dreams oft tantalize ~
  Reality's greeting may well surprise
