We Carry On

we carry on
when it all comes down
when there's more thunder than rain
when dreams lay in shards
we carry on

we carry on
through the reality of it all
more fable than fairytale
more investment than return
when it all starts to shatter
we carry on

we carry on
because the sun will still shine
a silver lining will come
after the storm's rage
tomorrow will come
and it will be a better day
we carry on
