We are Waiting for the Vet

we are waiting for the vet, my two dogs and I
He is coming to the house
easier for us because these dogs make ponies look petite
they are difficult to maneuver
one of them has a mammoth sized neck and he is super strong
he is the one who will not get into a car willingly

We are not twenty years old any more
We are ancient compared to most big dog owners
I am ready whenever he gets here
Whatever extra charge there is, will be worth it
The dogs seem to know something is afoot
Can they feel my anxiety or are they totally psychic?
Maybe a bit of both
